I want to start by saying something that might feel surprisingly validating: if you're here, it's probably not because you're lazy, weak, or bad at coping. It's because you've been carrying more than your system was designed to carry, for longer than you've let yourself admit.
I've spent years working with people at that exact tipping point — functional on the outside, running on fumes on the inside. And the thing that struck me over and over again wasn't how different their situations were. And it made things worse.
